We love The Fish Hole Mini-Golf on Anna Maria Island. Located in Bradenton Beach, it is a very family friendly spot for some good, clean fun. The environment is lush, green and there are koi ponds and turtles that you can feed! The course is easy enough for my two oldest kiddos to really enjoy, and they usually end up with at least one hole-in-one every time we go! My youngest is given a golf club and ball, and they do not charge an entry fee for her, which is greatly appreciated, as it can get a bit pricey for the 5 of us to do activities! She usually ends up playing the first couple of holes, then she enjoys the wildlife and eating snacks the rest of the time :).
The 5 of us are usually done in about an hour, and last night my husband and son went back for a second round, which is given at a huge discount, so it was a good choice to return! You can also get a punch card when enables you to have a free round after paying for 10. We kept our card from our trip last year, and will soon have our first free round.
My one tip is bring bug spray and water (especially for the kiddos). While it is a lush tropical environment, there are many mosquitoes that hang around the water, and it feels pretty muggy to us, most likely because of all the foliage! Oh, and we have brought strollers with us in the past, but if your little one likes to be worn, I’d go that route, as some of the pathways can be narrow.
Have a blast and may the best golfer win!
