I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Who doesn’t love tasty, creamy ice cream?? Well, on Anna Maria Island there are several places we can go to get this sugary dessert, but our very favorite is Two Scoops Ice Cream, found on S. Bay Blvd, near the Anna Maria City Pier (which is currently under construction after being destroyed during Hurricane Irma back in 2017).
Two Scoops offers 32 flavors of ice cream! That’s a lot of choices! Our favorites are: mint chocolate chip, superman (vanilla with fun food coloring), muddy sneaker (vanilla with peanut butter cups and I believe Snickers), and my hubby loves the root beer floats! You can get your ice cream in one of several different types of cones, and there are also sundae choices, along with milkshakes and floats!
It’s a small shop, but very quirky and cute. My favorite decoration is on the restroom door.
In addition to the delicious ice cream, Two Scoops actually has yummy beach food, too! They serve breakfast -foods like English muffin sandwiches, bagels, french toast and even Belgian waffles! There’s also a lunch menu which encompasses hot sandwiches, hot dogs and even PBJ if you heart so desires!
Two Scoops is a very family friendly, delectable stop that we make almost every night after dinner while we are vacationing on Anna Maria Island. It should not be missed!
